War in Wicklow!!!

Adventure Race filling up fast...................
The inaugural Wicklow Adventure Race to be held on April 17th includes 2 gruelling mountain runs over 18km, 3 cycle routes over 53km and a kayak across Lough Dan. Including a short course for the less adventurous (or those starting out on the exciting adventure race circuit), the races starts and finishes at the upper lake car park in Glendalough. Fees for the long race are €68 and €58 for the shorter race, details can be found at http://http//glendalough.wicklowadventurerace.com/

Belfast harbour policeman gets ready for multi-marathon challenge
Despite still recovering from injuries from a car accident a few months ago, 56 year old Ray Davies' first marathon is scheduled to take place at DW Fitness, Longwood Road on Monday, April 5. He then plans to complete the same energy-sapping feat on the first Monday of each month for the following five months - covering a total distance of more than 150 miles. Read more....
