Have you ever ran a marathon or completed a triathlon? We are considering putting together a very different event, in a new location........... a winter marathon - half off road. Between November 2010 & January 2011? Not for the faint hearted I know!! Challenging, yes. Mad idea? Great idea? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

I've never run a marathon... or a triathlon.....
I'm reliably informed that 16,000+ people participated in triathlons in Ireland this year. Were you one of them? Anyone know the total marathon competitor figures for marathons in Ireland in 2009.......... 12,000+ in the Dublin marathon alone, 2,500+ in Dingle.
